IS GB CONDEMNED TO STAY IN THE EU ?

At present it clearly seems that the EU wants to impose its conditions of how Britain could leave the EU !  BUT, Britain in fact, now simply wants to "walk away" without any conditions !
Negotiations have collapsed !  The officially scheduled time limit for leaving the EU is 31/12/2020 and is approaching !

If there is no agreement on special "Leaving Conditions", Britain has the simple right to "leave" !   BUT, this does not mean in future the EU and GB will not want to agree further conditions.  The current "stale mate" situation cannot stop Britain forever from operating normally and independently !

Britain has trading operations with its Commonwealth and other countries worldwide, not only with those in the EU.  These cannot be neglected.

However, Britain is also a European Country and during the last century at least has actively participated in protecting European interests !   This should never be forgotten !

UK : PRITI PATEL HELPS ONLY THE POLICE ?

The Home Secretary, Priti Patel, proposes finance for better Police operations but, neither she nor the Government propose anything to directly solve the root cause of the collapse of Justice in the UK ! 

Every Judge, Barrister, Solicitor or even Law Student knows full well that "Soft Justice" was introduced as an expedient because Prisons were at bursting point ! 

The length of some Prison sentences were then reduced by as much as 50% !!!   This now means that criminals are no longer sufficiently deterred from commiting more
crimes.

Why have MPs refused to adopt long term plans for the building of "state of the arts" prisons to permit Judges to administer Justice correctly ?   After all, is this not exactly what the Public really want -  more Security !

BUT, it would seem that MPs only want to ensure their own very short term security  at the next General Election.  Building Prisons would be far too costly and a too long-term project it would seem !
