MERKEL FORCED TO LIMIT MIGRANT ENTRY INTO GERMANY !

As anticipated in previous articles in this Blog, Angela Merkel the Leader of the Chritian Democrats (CDU) has at last been obliged to bow to the wishes of her junior Coalition Partners (the Social Democrats) to impose stricter immigration conditions on Migrants wishing to settle in Germany.

Her "open arms" welcome to 800 000 refugees in September 2015 to go to Germany provoked a massive invasion of Migrants not only to Germany, but to the whole of the EU .   In spite of this, Merkel has still  stubbornly refused, even to consider, an alteration of the wording of EU Treaties, to permit a limitation of the sacred fundamental principle of the "Freedom of Movement of People" within the EU .  

This is the wish of numerous other countries in the EU !  Several countries, particularly in the Balkans, have already built "Fortress style Fences" around their countries to prevent an invasion of Migrants.  There are EU countries which are not  economically able to cover the cost of a Migrant invasion. 

Under her guidance, Merkel has worked wonders in Germany since the Berlin Wall was breached in 1989.  Now she must also realise that not only Germany but the EU also needs help survive the Immigration Crisis !   

The War in the Middle East is escalating. Russia and Putin want revenge for the plane Islamic State terrorists exploded and which killed 220 innocent Russian tourists !  

A Russian "scorched earth" Policy can be expected and many more refugees will flee their homes just to save their lives, not only to avoid death at the hands of IS but from Russian bombs !

FRANCE : SOCIALISTS FLOUNDER IN ELECTION CAMPAIGN !

There are two Elections on the horizon which all French politicians have constantly on their minds : 

    -  Regional Council Elections on December 6 and 13, 2015.
    -  Presidential Elections in May 2017, after the end of the first term as President of François Hollande. 

To put it mildly and quite simply, the first 44 months Hollande's 60 month Mandate as President of France, have not been a roaring success !  Far from it ! 

In recent Opinion Polls the Socialist Party has regularly found itself in third place well behind the National Front (FN), led by Marine Le Pen and the newly renamed party  "The Republicans" led by Nicolas Sarkozy.   

Socialists are worried that the Party will not win a majority in most of the 13 Regional Councils. 

Other measures introduced by Hollande to favour low income earners have been favourably accepted, but cutting Central subventions to Regional and Local Councils has resulted in higher Local Council Taxes !

Many long time Socialist Voters have defected the Party and seem to be favouring the National Front !  The fact that the FN is firmly against accepting more Middle East immigrants into France, just at a time when France has very high unemployment levels, adds to the problems that Hollande and the Socialists face today. 

To prevent FN from wining too many seats in the Regional Council Elections next month, could there be a desperate but unholy alliance between Socialists and the Republicans ?

Yet in spite of all the set-backs President Hollande already  seems to be campaigning for a second term as President of France in May 2017 !   One sees him everywhere !

COP 21 : DE QUOI S'AGIT- IL ?

 

 

 

Que signifie  COP 21 ?   Certains disent qu’il s’agit de Conférence des Pingouins du 21^ème siècle, d’autres prétendent que cela veut dire tout simplement cote de popularité 21% car, selon le sondage du 12 octobre 2015, il n’y a plus que 21% des Français qui se disent favorables à la politique de Pingouin Ier.

 

Pingouin Ier se sent très concerné par tout ce qui touche au réchauffement climatique, car tout fond autour de lui : sa cote de popularité, sa majorité, sa crédibilité à l’étranger… Tout.

VOLKSWAGEN SCANDAL SPREADS ! LEGISLATION IS REQUIRED !

While the Volkswagen (VW) scandal continues, slowly other Groups and Companies in the Automobile Industry are being tarred with the same brush. 

It seems Customers have been fed false information concerning the performance of vehicules (Speed, Fuel consumption...) which can only be justified in exceptional testing conditions.  

Once again, all companies know what is going on.  Senior Managers, Executives and top level Directors could never honestly plead that they "did not know what was going on under their noses" !

In the case of VW, the sudden revelation was catastrophic.  The Group had to make hefty financial provisions to cover expected losses and shareholders saw their investments in VW shares nosedive on Stock Markets. 

Have senior Managers and Directors been sacked for ruining their Company and their Shareholders ?  Have they had to forfeit their "Golden Goodbye Bonus" or their "Top Hat Retirement Pensions" and all other similar "top-ups" ? 

This kind of information is rarely communicated, but it reveals a weakness in top level employment.  Inducements to ordinary employees, to encourage them to improve their performance at work, is normal. 

"Inducements" to top Directors to improve profitability, is different.   When Directors do initiate changes, the  real effect is rarely visible immediately.   Sometimes changes can later also prove to have been a real disaster !   Was the VW scandal not like a hidden time bomb ?

Should Legislators not oblige "already well paid" directors to wait for the payment of their "exceptional" bonuses ?   Five years later, it would be quite clear whether the "performance" of directors really merited a "bonus" !

The VW scandal is not the first such scandal and there will be others in the coming years !   That is certain !

COPROPRIETE : UTILISATION DU COURRIER ELECTRONIQUE

 

L'envoi par lettre recommandée, avec demande d'avis de réception, des convocations aux assemblées générales, des notifications de procès verbaux d'assemblées générales et de mise en demeure, génèrent  des coûts importants (frais de photocopie et d'affranchissement). 

 

 Désormais, le syndic pourra également adresser ces documents par courrier électronique aux copropriétaires qui  donneront leur accord exprès lors de la prochaine Assemblée générale. 

 

A défaut, le copropriétaire peut communiquer son accord au syndic par lettre recommandée avec demande d'avis de réception, ou par lettre recommandée électronique.

 

Le recours à la télécopie est supprimé (décret n° 2015-1325 du 21 octobre 2015, JO du 23).

 

A noter que les frais de photocopie sont inclus dans le forfait de base des nouveaux contrats de syndic. Le syndic réduira-t-il le montant de ses honoraires de base pour tenir compte de la diminution du nombre de photocopies engendré par l'utilisation du courrier électronique ?

FIFA IN 2016 - BUT WITHOUT BLATTER !

In the next FIFA Presidential Election, the logical first step should/must be to ban any FIFA executive who is "indicted"  or "suspended", from  voting.  This Election is scheduled to be held on February 26, 2016.

At present there are 8 candidates standing for election, including Platini who is currently suspended.  There will probably be less after all the credentials have been verified and after some candidates withdraw in favour of another better placed candidate !

What is the main reason why candidates want to be elected  President of FIFA ?  Is it to promote or protect the interests of his country ?   Or is it to help reform the FIFA Organisation ?

In current circumstances what is really necessary is an impartial "Management Committee" to review all facets of the FIFA operations.  To do this properly, the help of outside Management Experts would probably be required.  This implies that the next FIFA President should perhaps be limited to only conducting normal current events and normal business problems, not reorganisational matters.

Is FIFA now not at the point where the new principle is "out with the old and in with the new FIFA Organisation" ?

Experienced old servants have failed FIFA !  At all costs, keep them out of the "New FIFA" !

FIFA IS CORRUPT ! IS BLATTER STILL CLEAN ?

Blatter's admission yesterday that the choice of Russia, as Hosts for the 2018 World Football Cup Finals, was fixed before the actual vote took place, is just another reason why FIFA must quickly get a new, younger team of Head Office managers.  

Blatter has always maintained "I AM CLEAN !".   After yesterday's admission all his previous denials need to be re-examined.

He himself may not have received any "remuneration" for what was decided but other executives in FIFA did.  Blatter however was certain that the votes cast for the 2018 Hosts, would eliminate all candidates countries except Russia.  They may yet sue FIFA !

However, there is one matter which Blatter will have to explain.

Blatter asked Michael Garcia to review and report on FIFA operations.  Why did Blatter never want to make public the 350 page Garcia Report ?  Instead Blatter preferred the 40 page summary produced by Eckert, which absolved the FIFA Executive of any wrongdoing.  Garcia immediately resigned !

Since then several FIFA Executives have been indicted by the USA Attorney General.

The Swiss Attorney General will be following the whole situation closely.   Blatter and FIFA have destroyed the good reputation of Football everywhere !  The story of Blatter and FIFA does not enhance the reputation of the Swiss Legal System either.  It would seem "anything goes and is legal" !

Directors and Presidents are only CLEAN when they have protected their companies from Fraud and Loss.   Pretending not know what is going on, and then doing nothing to stop illegal enrichment, is aiding and abetting crime. 

In many countries that is a criminal offence !
